OnePlus is a tech company that specializes in phones, tablets, and headphones. The tech company OnePlus is working with Genshin Impact to create a collaboration launch event for their new phone the Genshin Impact limited edition OnePlus 12R. A special edition of the phone will launch on February 28th, 2024. The new phone will be themed around the character Keqing and an Electro color theme. There are pre-order benefits for those who want to get a hold of the phone.

Naoki Hamaguchi, the game director of FF7R has announced on his Twitter/X that the second part of the demo “Dawn of a New Era in Junon” will be released “tomorrow.” Per early previews, players can expect to learn about the open-world outside of Junon, the battle systems present in these areas, and additional details about new gameplay mechanics. Fans might even bump into a baby Chocobo or two.

Currently, there isn’t an exact time window for when players can expect to access the new content for the demo. However, according to the tweet, “Tomorrow” should indicate access during February 21, 2024. Hopefully, it will drop early in the day, ensuring fans get plenty of time to jump into the new location.

Per Hamaguchi, players should definitely give the demo a go before the game releases in full to experience the gameplay and battle system. I, for one, will definitely be in that demo doing everything I can before the game comes out. PowerWash Simulator Warhammer DLC Announced

Square Enix and PowerWash Simulator have announced that Warhammer is coming on February 27, 2024. Players will get to power wash their favorite weapons, specifically from Warhammer 40,000.

In the reveal, fans of both games have a chance to see the crossover cleaning in action, with gameplay showing new outfits, large mechs covered in muck, and stunning, themed locations to spend time scrubbing in. There also appears to be a new skin for the power washer, adding to the immersive details fans will experience when the pack drops later in February.

Fans are excited for the news with many declaring that the Omnissiah would approve of the crossover and many getting ready to clean for the Emperor. While many are excited about the crossover, others wonder how much the DLC will cost if players are charged for it.

It talks about grief and its five stages that everyone goes through. In this theory, Link has died after the events of Ocarina of Time and must come to terms with his own death. This theory came out just in time for the first part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy to be released, and now, with MatPat’s retirement announcement a month before the second part is released and we get closer to that trauma-inflicting event, it is time for this age-old question to be brought up again. This one digs deep into the lore of the Final Fantasy franchise as a whole, and it’s a fun one to watch. Bonus points on the older version of MatPat being used instead of the classic MatPat picture, but I am happy that he returned to using the classic one for the rest of his videos.

5. Why Mario is Mental

‘Why Mario is Mental’ is a two-part series that MatPat released ten years ago, and even now, I will never be able to look at the smiling plumber the same way ever again. This one is a deep dive into all the crimes Mario has committed over all the games he has been in, even some of the most obscure that have been hidden with time. It’s an excellent watch even after a decade, and it’s hilarious to hear MatPat get censored for cursing. This was definitely a time before MatPat became DadPat.

4. Five Nights at Frddy’s SCARIEST Monster is You!

We can’t have a top 10 list without putting the original FNAF theory on it. The video that really put MatPat on everyone’s radar and was the beginning of the series he is most famous for is ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s SCARIEST Monster is You!’ This video contains a theory that is still compelling and seems the most plausible for the original idea behind the first game. Of course, after ten years, the lore has turned into a giant behemoth, but it’s always nice to go back to the simpler times. Watching MatPat mock the game at the beginning is ironic, considering how much this game is going to take over his life for the next ten years.

3. Undertale – San’s SECRET Identity!

‘Undertale – San’s Secret Identity’ is a theory that will go down in infamy and a video that no one will let MatPat forget. This video is one of his biggest controversial videos because, at the time of its release, many of the Undertale fandom were not impressed, to say the least. However, when looking at the comment section now, everyone is quite fond of the video. Players will be able to play the prologue chapter of FFVII: Rebirth, Fall of a Hero, in FFVII: Ever Crisis, but with a few gameplay tweaks. Play through the story of Cloud and Sephiroth investigating the Nibel Reactor. The crossover event was announced to launch on February 15 at 6:00 PM PST by the official Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis Twitter/X account. The event will last until March 3, 5:59 PM PST.

How to Participate in the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth & Ever Crisis Crossover Event

For those who don’t want to miss out on the Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth Demo but don’t have a PS5, then this is the perfect solution. Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis is a free-to-play game available on Steam and mobile devices. The Prologue chapter will be updated in the game via the Ver. 1.6.0 update. Download the game, and players will automatically have access to the demo once it has been updated into the game.

Players will be able to play through the story but with the combat and mechanics of FF7: Ever Crisis. Those who participate will be able to play through event-exclusive quests and receive exchangeable items such as Planet’s Blessing and Moogle Medal that can be traded for luxurious items at the exchange in the game.

With a new area and new playable characters come new materials to collect in Genshin Impact. Clearwater Jade is one of the new materials players will need to farm if they want to ascend Xianyun, the cloud retainer.

The 4.4 update in Genshin Impact introduced a new area in Liyue along with two new playable characters Xianyun and Gaming. Clearwater Jade is the ascension item that Xianyun requires, and if players are lucky enough to get her through the wishing system, they will need to know where and how to get the material.

How to Farm Clearwater Jades

Players will need claymore-wielding characters to break and collect the Clearwater Jades. If players have them, put Qiqi or Yanfei in the party to use their passives to help locate each Clearwater Jade. Domes Clearwater Jade can be found on the backs of Jadestone Turtles. Players will be able to remove them without having to break them off. Some Clearwater Jade can only be collected after certain quests are completed.

Clearwater Jade will reset 48 hours after players have collected them. Players can also try fast traveling to the farthest point away from them to see if that will trigger an early respawn.

Where to Find Clearwater Jades

Clearwater Jades are located in the Chenyu Vale region north of Liyue. There are 71 Clearwater Jade locations in the wild. Many are located near bodies of water, just on the shore. There are 5x Clearwater Jade that can be bought from Fengtai at Yilong Wharf.

The best places to look will be the Yaodie Valley, just north of Mt Xuanlian, and the road in between the two locations. Start at the waypoint just North of the Yaodie Valley, then move South along the river, which will lead players to another waypoint. From there, move Southwest towards Mt. Xuanlian. From there, players can move north to the Chizhang Wall and just North of the Chizhang Wall, where a few more Clearwater Jades can be located.

There are a few more locations just north of Mt. Lingmeng surrounding the crisscross bridges. Players should use the waypoint at its peak to move north to hit the four locations before moving farther North to the coast to hit three other locations.

There are a few more locations around the Teatree Slope and near the Statue of The Seven Northwest of the Teatree Slope. Players should fast-travel to the Statue of The Seven and then make their way down towards the Teatree Slope by following the water.

Olympia Soiree is for those who love that arranged marriage drama. The main character has to quickly choose a man to marry to continue her special bloodline because she is the last. If she doesn’t find someone, she will have to marry the main male lead. This game has a unique twist with colors and classes mixed with Japanese mythology. While this game has some flaws, like the misogyny that plagues this world, the overall story was pretty good and certainly a guilty pleasure to enjoy when avoiding the world on Valentine’s Day.

8. Even if TEMPEST

Even if TEMPEST is the exact opposite of the last Otome game. This game is for those who want a high stakes drama-filled mystery with a bit of romance on the side. This is Phoenix Wright meets witch hunts and trauma. If you like regression webcomics with high intensity then this is the game for you. What I like about this game is the main character has some spunk and is not a damsel in distress. I enjoyed every route the game has to offer and I’ve played through the game a few times now. Play this game for the murder mystery plot twists and great storytelling.

7. Birushana: Rising Flower of Genpei

Who doesn’t love a good period romance? Birushana: Rising Flower of Genpei takes place in 12th-century Japan, where the main character lives disguised as a male. Where a lot of these games will say the female lead can fight but turn her into a Mary Sue, this female lead can actually fight and hold her own. The story is great, and the romance routes are all fantastic. This has a good blend of intense scenes and more calm moments. The game also provides a route chart so players know where they are headed and which spots are pinnacle moments where the choices matter most.

6. Collar X Malice

This one is for the girls, gays, and those who all love a good true crime podcast. Collar X Malice is certainly dark with dealings of terrorists, a locked-down city, and every paranoid citizen holding a gun. The main character is a cop who gets thrown in the middle of everything when she gets kidnapped by the terrorist group Adonis, who attaches a collar to her that monitors her every move and will kill her if she does anything out of line. She joins a ragtag team to solve the mysteries behind Adonis and stop them before they destroy everything.

5. Piofiore: Fated Memories

Piofiore: Fated Memories takes place between WWI and WWII in Italy. This time, our boys are all part of the Italian mafia, and the female lead gets thrown in the middle of everything. This isn’t a story where characters are part of the mafia, but they are all actually Robin Hood-like characters. Every route showcases just how much these guys are part of the mafia. Add in some religious shenanigans because why not, and you have one hell of a story. I was pretty much yelling at my screen through the whole game but out of fun and not frustration. This is an Otome game that will take players on a wild ride.

4. Cafe Enchante

For those who love the atmosphere of a good coffee shop, Cafe Enchante is the perfect Otome game. This game centers around some fantastical themes. The female lead inherits a coffee shop that has a back door leading to other worlds that contain familiar creatures like the Celtic Dullahan. The game focuses on all the characters’ relationships with one another and less on the romance routes, but the story itself is so good that the lessened romance focus didn’t bother me as much as it could have. This one is mostly light-hearted but will still have some twists that will make players filled with emotions.

3. Code: Realize – Guardian of Rebirth

This is the game that got me fully addicted to the Otome game genre. Code: Realize – Guardian of Rebirth is a steampunk Otome where familiar literary characters come to life and are romanceable. The leading lady has a condition where every part of her has an acid coating that melts anything and anyone she touches. She gets help from the classic rag-tag group of eligible bachelors to help cure her of this affliction and to solve the mysteries that surround her, her father, and the city they live in. This was another game where I enjoyed every route. There are two sequel games that players will be able to enjoy, both of which are excellent in their own right.

2. Lover Pretend

Instead of watching a romcom or romantic drama, play an Otome game about making the movie and falling for the cast and crew instead! Lover Pretend doesn’t just have the classic trope of pretending to be lovers, it contains a lot of tropes you would find in romance movies which fits right in with the Valentine’s Day theme. Help the female lead find her long-lost father as she realizes her dream of becoming a screenwriter like her mother before her. It’s a great game that ticks all the classic romance boxes and will be more entertaining than rewatching the same romcoms over again.

It’s Valentine’s Day, so of course, the cupid-centric Otome game would make it on the list. Cupid Parasite is about a female version of Cupid going down to the human world and finding love for herself even though she doesn’t mean to. If you are heavily dedicated to Greek and Roman mythology, be warned this game is barely influenced by it. However, it is cute, light, and hilarious. With each route, more of the overarching story is revealed, and I did not expect what this game was going to throw at me. I would say this is the best game to play on Valentine’s Day.

There is no shortage of items to collect in the world of Genshin Impact. Many items can be grabbed as players run by while others need a bit of searching and careful gathering to farm the materials which holds true for Electro Crystals.

Electro Crystals are purple crystals that gather electricity from the air around them. If players get too close to one, they will receive electro damage for a period of time. Due to their nature, players will need to be careful when collecting the Electro Crystals to avoid taking as much damage as possible. These crystals can be found all over Teyvat, making them an easy resource to locate.

How to Farm Electro Crystals & What to Use Them For in Genshin Impact

Players should put a heavy-hitting Pyro user in their group to gather the crystals themselves. The Electro Crystals will break with Pyro Elemental ATK skills. Try to hit them from a distance or use a powerful move to avoid taking Electro DMG.

Electro Crystals are used for making three specific items. The first is an Insulation Potion which requires 1x Electro Crystal along with 1x Butterfly Wing and 100x Mora to craft. The Insulation Potion will increase all party members’ Electro RES by 25% for 300 seconds, which will help when farming more Electro Crystals as well as fighting many Electro bosses. Another item Electro Crystals are used for is the Shocking Essential Oil which requires 1x Electro Crystal along with 1x Frog (material) and 100x Mora. This item will increase all party members’ Electro DMG by 25% for 300 seconds.

The last item that requires Electro Crystals is the NRE (Menu 30) gadget. This item requires 50x Electro Crystal, 20x Lizard Tail, and 20x Chaos Circuit. Players will be able to use recovery food and other revival-type food from a hot bar when this item is equipped.

Where to Find Electro Crystals

Electro Crystals are found at the bottom of mountainsides and cliffs. Electro Crystals are mainly found in Mondstadt and Inazuma but there are pockets of them found all over Teyvat. Players can also purchase Electro Cyrstals from Changshun in Liyue and Qiuyue in Inazuma. Changshun will sell a crystal for 1,500 Mora. Her five in stock will be replenished every three days. Qiuyue sells the crystals for 1,000 Mora with the same amount in stock and the same replenish time.

Mondstadt Electro Crystal Location

Mondstadt has a vast multitude of areas where players will be able to collect Electro Crystals. they can be found at almost any cliff base. However, the best place in Mondstadt is Stormterror’s Lair. This area holds the majority of Mondstadt’s supplies of Electro Crystals, especially on the West side of the area. Two other places in Mondstadt that contain pockets of Electro Crystals are Dadaupa Gorge and Cape Oath. While these places don’t have as many Electro Crystals, they still have decent size pockets of them for farming purposes.

Liyue Electro Crystal Locations

Liyue has a few small locations scattered throughout the region that contain Electro Crystals. The best places for farming them are Cuijue Slope, the beaches of Luhua Pool, and Wuwang Hill. These areas have little clusters of Electro Crystals instead of just individual crystal chunks that are scattered throughout the area. There are a few locations surrounding Mingyun Village that are notable for Electro Crystals but there is a bit of space that requires travel between them.

Inazuma Electro Crystal Locations

Inazuma, like Mondstadt, is full of Electro Crystal locations. The best islands for farming are Kannazuka, Narutakami Island, and Seirai Islands. Kannazuka has a few areas with pockets of Electro Crystals that players can find. There are some on Nazuchi Beach, a couple of locations north of Tatarasuna near the shore, and on a small island just South of the main island. There is a small island West of Inazuma City that has a good amount of Electro Crystals. Narutakami also has a great farming location in Byakko Plain. Lastly, the best sport in Seirai Island for farming Crystals is West and Southwest of Koseki Village.

Sumeru Electro Crystal Locations

Sumeru has the most Electro Crystal locations out of all the regions, partially because of how big it is. Southwest of Sumeru City and across the water are giant pockets of Electro Crystals that are perfect for farming the material. There are a lot that players can find if they follow the road. Another location is the south part of the Apam Woods. There are a lot of Electro Crystals that can be found near the road around The Sands of Al-Azif and Qusayr Al-Inkhida as well as near the roads around the Sands of Three Canals.

Fontaine Electro Crystal Locations

Fontaine does not have a lot of Electro Crystals, unlike the other regions of Teyvat. However, there is one location where players will be able to farm Electro Crystals. Northwest of the New Fontaine Research Institute, there is an area with a huge amount of Electro Crystals for players to collect.
