How to Find The Lake-Facing Cliffs in Elden Ring

There's a location you might be trying to find in Elden RIng called the Lake-Facing Cliffs, and this guide will show you how to find it.

Elden Ring’s world is vast and it’s extremely easy to get lost through the many locations you have the chance to visit. The game encourages exploration to discover paths thought blocked or new areas to unpack, and you might be trying to hunt down a location known as the Lake-Facing Cliffs.

The Lake-Facing Cliffs is one of the Sites of Grace that you can find while exploring the earlier regions in Elden Ring. You can find it in the northeast part of the Limgrave, but tracking down its exact location can be quite tricky, requiring you to slowly navigate several tedious areas, and fight against various foes. Here’s what you need to know about where you can find the Lake-Facing Cliffs in Elden Ring, and unlock that Site of Grace.

The most direct way to get to the Lake-Facing Cliffs is to find or teleport to the Stormhill Shack Site of Grace in Elden Ring. This is an early location that you should have no trouble getting straight out of the starting area, and you can find it while you’re making your way north of the opening location in the game.

The Lake-Facing Cliffs Site of Grace is Northwest of Stormhill Shack, and there is a pesky castle blocking the way. You won’t be able to reach the location by heading east. In fact, you’ll probably be murdered by the castle ballista with several enemies manning them if you are still a fledgling adventurer in Elden Ring. My best recommendation would be to steer clear of this area, and instead make your way north, following the path underneath the bridge.

Make your way onto the bridge and past the merchant there. When you reach its edge, immediately look to your left and slightly down. There is a path here that leads up the mountain and around the castle. Jump onto this and head forward, following the curve to the left and then again to the right. You can follow this pathway relatively easily, so long as you stick to the cliffs. Avoiding the enemies leading to the castle is likely the toughest part of discovering this location in Elden Ring, along with noticing the cliff pathway you can use.

You’ll want to follow this path northwest as it increases in elevation, navigating the few bends as you go. Watch out for wolves on the way. They patrol this area. The path will eventually peak and curve to the left. This is your final destination.

You should now see a swirling Site of Grace just ahead and to the right of the road where the path opens up. You have now successfully navigated to the Lake-Facing Cliffs and its Site of Grace in Elden Ring. Take a rest at the light, and take comfort in knowing that you can now return to this spot at any time.
